History: Dates from October 1915, when the Hunt was founded as the Ampleforth College Beagles, which it remained until May 1994 when re-constituted as a subscription pack, with a separate Committee and Hound Trustees, being named the Old Ampleforth. It became The Ampleforth Beagles on May 1, 1998.
