History of the Hunt

History:	The Pack was established in 1925, when Percy Mann bought the Basted Beagles which had hunted the country since 1919. In 1934 Philip Burrows bought the hounds and moved the kennels to his home in Heaverham. The hounds moved to their present kennels in 2001.

The country lies in Kent and East Sussex and in the Hunt countries of the Southdown & Eridge, Ashford Valley and Old Surrey Burstow & West Kent Hunts. It extends from East Grinstead in the west to Biddenden and Maidstone in the east, Heathfield to the south, is bounded by Greater London to the north and includes the Thames marshes on the Hoo Peninsula. Best centre: Tonbridge.
