History of the Hunt
Organized: 1902. Re-organized: 1987. The pack is an amalgamation of the Rollington Foot Beagles and the Fincastle Beagles, est. 1902, as the Clear Creek Beagles. The country has been hunted continuously since 1902 by the Clear Creek, the Fincastle and the Rollington Foot Beagles.
Open rolling farming horse and cattle country lying in Oldham, Shelby, Mercer, Clark, and Fayette counties in Kentucky. Portions of the country are hunted with the kind permission of the Long Run Hounds, the Woodford Hounds, and the Iroquois Hunt.
