The country is on loan, on the north and north west side from the Ludlow, on the east from the Worcestershire, on the south from the Ledbury (though the North Ledbury, whose country is also on loan, actually adjoins) and on the west from the North Herefordshire. It is mostly undulating grass with an abundance of Hunt jumps. Best centre: Bromyard. Type of horse best suited: three-quarter bred.
