History:	The pack belongs to the Eames family. The country was recognized by the MFHA in 1948, but there has been no change in the breeding, the pack being entered in the West Country Harrier Stud Book.

Hunt Country:

The centre of the country lies where Devon, Somerset and Dorset meet, and is nearly all grass with high banks which cannot be jumped because of wire. There are hunt jumps in the Wambrook area. A three-quarter bred would suit. Adjacent Hunts are the Taunton Vale Hunt to the north; the Axe Vale and East Devon to the west; the Seavington to the east; to the south lies the sea.
