History of the Hunt

History:	The Hunt, which hunt on foot, observes the traditions of the former Eastern Counties Otter Hounds, who were formed in 1910 but whose constituent hunts go back to the 1890s. The Hunt name was agreed with and granted by the Eastern Counties Hunt Club. The Hunt was founded by James McKeran in 1998 and registered in 1999. The initial drafts of hounds were received from the Mid Wales & Glamorgan and Mr Bell�s (West Wales) Mink Hounds.
