History of the Hunt

History:	The Equipage de Selore has its origins in the Equipage Vens de Venaille which was created in 1981 to hunt fox then deer from 1986. On Saint-Hubert on November 20, 2010, the crew celebrated the anniversary of twenty years as Master of Baron Jean-Christophe von Pfetten, who was also MFH of the New Forest Hunt in England. The hunt has been managed since 1990 by the Association of Hunting and Equestrian Sports of Burgundy (ACSEB).The houndsare the property of the Master. Each summer at Selore Castle a British style "Puppy-show" is held. To date the Selore Hounds are the only ones in France to be registered in the "stud-book" published for two centuries by the MFHA
