The country lies east of the Blue Ridge Mountains and west of Mineral in Albemarle and Louisa Counties and coincides with that of the Farmington and Keswick Hunt Clubs by kind permission of the masters. The country is rolling northern Piedmont grass and woodland crossed by numerous small rivers and streams.
