History of the Hunt

History:	The Hunt was founded in 1981 to hunt mink in Kent and part of East Sussex and, in 1986, acquired the Surrey and Kent country of the Tandridge Mink Hounds who in the same year had disbanded. The Hunt which hunt on foot, continues to enjoy the support of riparian owners, farmers and keepers.

The rivers hunted are the East Sussex Rother and its tributaries; the Cuckmere River; the Medway and its tributaries; the Eden, Teise and Beult. Also hunted are the Pevensey and Romney marshes and their respective streams. Adjoins the Wealden Minkhounds to the west.
