History:	The Palm Beach Hounds founded in 1979 is a private group of riders dedicated to enjoying the traditions of fox hunting in South Florida. We have hunts, hunter paces, and cub primarily in Palm Beach & Martin Counties, in addition to Okeechobee & St. Lucie Counties. Registered 1984. Recognized 1986. Hounds went out 36 times last season.

Hunt Country:

The Country is a total of 120,000 acres typically 2 miles by 5 miles, mostly South Florida. Shallow ditches and wetlands, low hills and many lakes. Our territories are mostly level with open fields, pinewoods, sandbanks, and streams. Most jumps are 3’ and 3’3” coops. We welcome and accommodate Hilltoppers (those who choose not to jump). For those who are new to the sport or want a slower pace, a “walk-trot” field is available by prior arrangement.
