History of the Hunt

History:	The Hunt was founded as a private pack in 1935. There was no hunting from 1940-45. The pack was re-formed in 1945, and regular hunting resumed in the 1946 season. It is now a subscription pack.

Hunt Country

Hunt Country:

The country is bounded by the Cheshire Beagles to the north, the DNS to the east, and the Wyre Forest Beagles to the south. Best centres: Shrewsbury and Wellington. Hounds are normally taken to Tregaron in Cardiganshire for ten days hunting in the mountains in September before beginning the season in Shropshire.
