History:	The present Wensleydale Foxhounds were formed by Maurice Bell in 1970, and affiliated to the Central Committee of Fell Packs in 1992. Previous records show Wensleydale Hounds as far back as 1775.

Hunt Country

Hunt Country:

The country stretches from Ingleton in the west to Leyburn in the east, northward to the right hand side of the river Swale, and southward to Grassington-in-Wharfdale. Adjoining hunts are the Lunesdale on fell country; the Bedale and the Zetland on low country.
