History:	The pack was formed in 1995 from the amalgamation of the Beacon Beagles, created in 1940 by the Roffe-Sylvester family, and the Crowcombe Beagles, started in 1948 by Major T F Trollope-Bellew.

Hunt Country:

The country lies in west Somerset with a few meets in Devon. The country can be divided into three types of terrain: the steep combes and grasslands of the Brendon Hills; Exmoor heathland; and the arable and dairy country of the West Somerset Vale, the cream of it being level. The fields are divided by wide ditches known locally as rhines.
