History of the Hunt

History:	The Hunt was founded in 1948 at Warminster by Col C W P Richardson, DSO, hounds being drafted from various well-established packs. The north of the country was formerly hunted by the Trowbridge Foot Beagles and the west by the Downside Beagles. In May 1985 the Hunt became a committee pack and changed from School of Infantry to Wiltshire & Infantry.
